Camp Details:
The Personal Power Training Youth Sports Performance/Skills Camp is a
fitness-oriented camp designed for children between the ages of 6-18. We
specialize in assisting today's youth in their quest to b ecome better
athletes. We are not a "one size fits all" program. Instead, we customize
our programs to each unique youth athlete. Moreover, our staff members are more than just volunteer coaches. Each staff member is trained and educated (many with Bachelors and Masters degrees) in the areas of biomechanics,
nutrition, and athletic performance enhancement. As such, staff members have made it their career to understand human movement and nutrition.
Youth Sports Program
Our program goes beyond simply making youth athletes stronger, faster, and quicker. We educate them on a deeper level about the sport(s) they play. We also emphasize nutrition--namely, we teach them about the fuel their bodies need for optimal athletic performance. In short, we focus on encouraging each athlete to not only perform great on the field, court etc., but in the classroom as well.
The program is broken down by each sport and position. For example, football will be split into receivers, linemen, backs, linebackers, quarterbacks, etc. Basketball players will be divided into guards, forwards, centers. 
Process wise, we teach fundamentals of the sport(s) first and them emphasize concepts such as conditioning, speed, strength, confidence, and team building. To make learning these ideas both active and fun, we utilize
games, drills, class-room learning, and friendly competitions.
In addition to the social, educational, and fitness oriented reasons for
attending this camp, we are pleased to donate partial proceeds derived from this program to variety of charities to support youth sports and childhood obesity.
