Route: Take US 60 (The Superstition Freeway) to Power Road, north. Power Road turns into Bush Highway and runs along the Salt River. Take Phon D Sutton turn-off and park in dirt parking area just on the right. Ride to the Coon Bluff or Goldfield roads and return to the Phon D Sutton road parking area. (See map)

Rating: 5.2 miles: Easy-Novice round-trip ride, a few sandy crossings.
Season: Year-round, hot in summer.
Camping / Picnicking: Camping is allowed at Granite Reef, Coon Bluff, Goldfield, Phon D Sutton and Water Users. The fee is $9-$11 per site. You can picnic and fish all along the river, including Granite Reef Dam (fees may change without notice).
