Biography:
Kenyon Glover, CEO of Dmari Management, is a former
professional basketball player. He started seeking acting and modeling in
2004 after a career ending injury sidelined him from playing basketball
any longer. Kenyon has appeared in Upscale Magazine, national print ads,
book covers, fashion shows, have been featured in quite a few independent
films such as “The Stain”, “Life worth Living”, “Dark Secrets, just to
name a few, and has released his own 2006 calendar titled, “Elements Of a
Man”. Kenyon is also a graduate of the University of Maine with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He is also CEO of his own
Management Company based out of Atlanta, Georgia. He has attended numerous
acting workshops under, Martha Burgess, E. Lloyd Napier, and Donald Welch
himself. In his free time Kenyon likes to teach Martial Arts, play
basketball, weightlifting, travel, and just enjoy the Life that God has
blessed him with.
The Louisiana born actor/model and personal trainer
is interested in portraying positive images of the African American male
“Kids need positive role models and I am aware that many kids look up to
me. However, I always tell kids to keep their eyes on God and not me.” To
the young male who is striving to reach his dreams Glover offers this
advice, “Pray. Stay focused on whatever it is you want to accomplish. Stay
positive and don’t let others convince you that you can’t achieve your
dreams. You can accomplish anything you want to. I don’t believe the
words ‘I can’t’”. Glover, who is 6’5”, is also a black belt in karate and
has played professional basketball in Europe. In the future, Glover has
considered opening a martial arts school for kids or a basketball camp.
Currently he is focused on an acting career. “I believe acting is my
calling. It is hard work and I am committed to training, taking classes,
reading books and learning the craft. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration/Management from the University of Maine, personal training
certification from International Fitness Association and certification in
massage therapy from Shauk Therapy Massage School, Glover is destined for
success and establishes himself as an African American man with all the
positive elements of a man.

What makes a great
fitness model? Being very knowledgeable about fitness and health and
having the looks to back it up.
What are the secrets to
become a fitness model? The secrets to becoming a fitness model is
basically studying all there is to know about getting in shape, staying in
shape, eating healthy, having not only the beauty on the outside but the
beauty on the inside as well to be able to teach other people how to be
the same way.
What did you do to
become a model? I’m a former professional basketball player turned
model so I’ve in fitness all of my life basically and then started
modeling after my career was over after hurting my knee and starting doing
print work, runway, etc.
What are the benefits
to being a fitness model? Knowing how to stay healthy and look good
What is your favorite
things about being a fitness model? My favorite thing about being a
fitness model is being beautiful on the outside while feeling good on the
inside as well.
How do you stay
beautiful? Confidence, Eating right, Staying positive, Belief in God
How do you stay fit, do
you have a personal trainer, chef, work out, what do you do? I work
out 5 days a week, watch what I eat, and just try to stay active. My
workouts consists of weight training and lots of cardio.
How do you keep you
skin healthy and fresh looking? I believe your skin will stay healthy
by staying away from a lot of greasy foods, low on sugar and most
importantly, lots and lots of water.
What do you believe is
good health and fitness? Eating right, drinking lots of water and
working out at least 3 days a week.
Do you prefer to tan or
use tanning lotion? Do not tan. I’m a black man. LOL
