Biography:
I was born in Amsterdam,
Holland on February 2, 1984. My parents had come from Persia in 1981. I
grew up in Amsterdam and had lived there all my life.
In early summer of 2004
I took my first three month trip to America. I was going to stay for three
months. I traveled from Los Angeles to San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix,
San Jose, Miami Beach, South Beach and Fort Lauderdale, all to work with
the best photographers in town and to have fun visiting these nice places.
I had a wonderful experience traveling around and exploring each new city
I visited and had a great time working with the photographers who all had
a special eye in photography in their own unique way. I love to have great
artists as professional photographers capture images of me to see in the
results how they all define beauty in a different way. My three month trip
turned into a one year trip where I worked with several great
photographers. Then, as I noticed the success of my fitness modeling, I
decided I wanted to start to compete. I won my first fitness competition,
3 weeks after that I placed 2nd in the National Championships and before I
knew it 3 weeks later I was standing on the European Championship stage to
compete in Figure. I love competing and am still learning so much (but we
never really stop learning anyways) and things are really looking up for
me. This is only the beginning..

What makes a great
fitness model? I'm never in bad shape, love to work out and do fitness
modeling any time of the year, love to travel and love getting exposure
(especially in the magazines). Basically I love everything about the
sport. I am also originally Persian, which separates me from the
mainstream fitness models.
What are the secrets
to become a fitness model? Fitness has to become your lifestyle. You
have to want to be a fitness model and train and eat like a fitness model.
What did you do to
become a model? Just be myself, I loved to train anyways and as I
started to get certain photographers attention I kinda rolled into it and
got hooked ever since.
What are the benefits
to being a fitness model? You get to do fun photo shoots on the beach,
you get great exposure and lots of positive feedback, you're always in
(relatively) good shape, you always get compliments on your physique and
you can help others in helping them achieve their fitness goals
What are your
favorite things about being a fitness model? Feeling good about
myself, competing, doing fun photo shoots and getting great exposure would
be my favorite things.
How do you stay
beautiful? Just by being myself, I enjoy working out and eating healthy
and clean and especially, I feel good about myself. That keeps you
beautiful, don't you agree?
How do you stay fit,
do you have a personal trainer, chef, work out, what do you do? I have
a personal trainer, a nutritionist, someone very special I learn many
important things from, I work out (of course), I do cardio and I eat clean
all year and add in cheat meals/days here and there to enjoy bad food once
in a while.
How do you keep you
skin healthy and fresh looking? By eating lots of chocolate every day.
Ha, I wish!! Seriously, by eating clean, working out and drinking at least
1 gallon of water a day.
What do you believe
is good health and fitness? Weightlifting a couple times a week, doing
cardio a couple times a week or other sports where you stay active, eating
healthy and drinking plenty of water.
Do you prefer to tan
or use tanning lotion? I prefer to tan, I tan easily.
First Interest In

athletes was when the bug bit me.
