transformation of the week
What makes a great fitness model?
A fresh look, not too striated, great smile and an aura that
promotes health just from a posture or photo.
What are the secrets to become a
fitness model? Be yourself at the very best you can be. Train
hard/rest well, eat clean, and be willing to put your persona out there
so people get to know you. Expos, competitions, nutrition stores, gyms
etc. Meet people!
What did you do to become a
model? Introduced myself to the owner of a clothing line and sent
email pictures whenever I had a good one to promote myself with.
What are the benefits to being a
fitness model? Recognition for knowledge and hard work, exposure to
more people, inspiring others to commit to a healthier lifestyle.
What is your favorite things
about being a fitness model? Wearing fun clothes/outfits, getting
made up for the camera, and the attention is a blast.
How do you stay beautiful?
Emphasize the positives and be confident that the negatives are hardly
noticeable when you smile.
How do you stay fit, do you have
a personal trainer, chef, work out, what do you do? I am a personal
trainer. Even a pt can use a pt now and then. I work out 4 to 5 days a
week in off season and watch what I eat.
How do you keep you skin healthy
and fresh looking? Moisturize, exfoliate, play up your best features
with neutral colors and tones. A healthy tan looks great too…but I avoid
tanning my face.
What do you believe is good
health and fitness? Good health and fitness is a balance and equal
attention eating right, exercising, staying hydrated and assessing your
body composition frequently to know where things are changing positively
or negatively.
Do you prefer to tan or use
tanning lotion? I use both. Tanning beds get used a lot in contest
preparation, then I stay away from the bed and use lotions when I want
more color.
First
Interest In Fitness/Bodybuilding
My first interest in bodybuilding was back when my big brother took
power conditioning in high school. I watched how his body developed nice
muscle definition in his arms and chest and how his confidence in
himself shot up.
Goal Within The modeling/ Fitness
Industry
My goals in fitness are to take home
a 1st place trophy soon to complete my set (I have 2nd,
3rd, 4th, and 5th), to have articles
published, to do more modeling and continue to inspire people to live
better lives…I’d love to reach as many people as possible!
Life Goals: Because the
fitness industry is a big part of my life, the goals do overlap some.
However, I do want to have a novel published one day.
To stay young!
Dreams: to own a mountain
cabin and host women to do fitness camps and seminars while offering a
great setting for rejuvenation and rest.

goes through several phases/cycles to get continued responses. I phase
is with creatine and heavy/low reps, another phase is w/o creatine and

another phase is to switch to lighter/higher reps and add a 2nd
cardio session to the day.

4-5 days of resistance training and cardio.
