Biography:
I am a forty years old and a mother of two sons. A licensed dental
hygienist for the past twenty years. Followed my dream and started my
own personal training business three and a half years ago. I am now a
full-tome personal trainer. Driving toward a diverse and successful
career in the training and fitness industry.
Fitness Model, Competitor History:
Career Highlights: Figure Competition, Northern Kentucky March
2006
**My first competition at age of 40, I was awarded a fourth place trophy.
Sports/ athletics: Played competitive outdoor and indoor soccer.
Coached my son's youth soccer leagues. Every day is an athletic event
whether I am training, shopping, being a mom or spending time in the
pool with friends.
Bodybuilding: I strength train four days a week.
Figure: Maintained through exercise and diet I consistently
project a fit and healthy lifestyle. My figure represents my personal
commitment to be the best I can be.
Modeling history: I have not contractually modeled yet! Every day
when I am with clients, family and friends I am modeling the level of
focus and determination I have in my career and life. My natural passion
comes through in all that I do and I know it will in fitness modeling as
well.

Films: Not yet....a training video is one of my goals! It will be
fabulous to support individuals and motivate them to choose to be fit
and healthy.

What makes a great fitness model? The ability to project
confidence and have an appealing "screen or stage" presence. Consumers
should see a fitness model and feel that they can also achieve that
level of fitness without being intimidated.
What are the secrets to become a fitness model? Focusing on your
dream and doing whatever it takes to get there. I have laid the
foundation to be able to achieve this and am moving toward it NOW!
What did you do to become a model? My daily training to prepare
for my clients and for the competition put me on stage at all times.
This preparation has made me comfortable with my body, personality and
ability to motivate others.
What are the benefits to being a fitness model? I feel awesome
about myself and know that fitness modeling will help me grow personally
and professionally! When you love what you are doing it naturally comes
through!
What is your favorite things about being a fitness model?
Watching the successes that I can inspire in others no matter great or
small.
How do you stay beautiful? BALANCE - children, exercise and
proper diet. Being beautiful is a combination of exterior and interior.
Doing my best each day makes me the most beautiful person I can be.
How do you stay fit, do you have a personal trainer, chef, work out,
what do you do? I am a personal trainer and work out regularly. My
cardio and strength training routines are critical to my success and
they get me psyched for the day. I monitor my own diet each day and
enjoy being in control of the results I achieve.
How do you keep you skin healthy and fresh looking? With proper
nutrition and plenty of water, and LOTS of moisturizers.
What do you believe is good health and fitness? BALANCE- good
eating habits and regular exercise (both weight training and
cardiovascular). These combined with personal growth initiatives and
internal peace will lead to good health and overall fitness.
Do you prefer to tan or use tanning lotion? I prefer to tan, but
have used tanning lotions.
First Interest In Fitness/Bodybuilding 16 years ago - Cycling.
Goal Within The modeling/ Fitness Industry My goal is to make
exercise videos and model fitness apparel.
Life Goals To be the best mother I can be to my sons. I achieve
this by fousing on my goals and leading by example to encourage their
growth and development and young men physically and mentally.
Dreams To make a exercise video and have a prosperous business.
Pre-contest Diet
6 am 10 egg whites, half cup of oatmeal, half tablespoon of
flaxseed oil.
9 am 5 ounces of chicken, 6 ounce yam, 1 cup broccoli
12 pm 5 ounces of chicken, 6 ounce yam, 1 cup broccoli
3 pm 8 ounces fish, 6 ounce yam, 1 cup broccoli
6 pm 10 egg whites, 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil
8 pm 8 egg whites
Supplements you use Multi-vitamin and vitamin C - twice daily
Regular Diet
Eggs and oatmeal , chicken, fish, vegtables, pizza and chicken
quesadilla's.
Contest Work Out Routine: Weight training four times a week and
twenty
minutes of cardio a day.

Favorite body part to work: My back.
Ideal vacation: On a island with my closest friends and a cabana
boy.

Ideal Man: A man that is strong in himself, in great shape and
that will be strong for me.

Personality: Fly by seat of my pants - Live life to it's fullest!
Things I hate: Noises people make at the table while eating.

Favorite thing to do: Chill and relax with my friends.

Bits and Pieces: I love showing my children that it is critical
to try new things in life. My friends and I have done everything from
skinny dipping to bungee jumping and the fun continues!

Favorite Nutritional Supplements, why: Protein shakes, to build
muscle.
