I was born in Amsterdam. I grew up with a younger brother (6 years
between us) and an older sister (17 months between us). I have always
loved sports. I did gymnastics, ballet, horseback riding, track and
more… I love everything that has to do with creativity. I studied
fashion for a while, I used to draw pictures, I dance a lot, started
modeling when I was 16, wrote lyrics and love to sing.
I moved out to live on my own when I was about 17 years old. I always
wanted to see what it was like to live in the US so I moved to Atlanta
when I turned 18.
I moved back to the Netherlands and decided to get back in college.
I'm now studying social work. In my first year I had lots of spare time
and decided to hit the gym. After working out for 4 months I did my
first figure competition and got 3rd place. Competing for the first time
wasn't that scary for me because I love to be on stage and I love to be
in front of the camera. I wasn't nervous at all, I had lots of fun. I
qualified for the Dutch Nationals IFBB and competed there a month later.
I got 3rd place again. Now I decided to work hard and try to win the
Nationals in the next year. And so I did… I won the Dutch Nationals in
April 2006 and was invited to do the World Championships in September.
I made a trip to California and New York from July until August. On
my trip I shot with different fitness photographers. I was like a new
born person when I came back to the Netherlands because I had learned so
much from my trip. I had to cancel the World Championships though
because I was over trained. I noticed that when I was in LA and had
decided to give my body some rest.
Other then that I worked on
expo's and hosted a TV show.

What are the secrets to
become a fitness model?
Live a
healthy lifestyle, keep your body in shape and get yourself out
there.
What did you do to become a
model?
I got myself
in shape by competing. I live in Europe so I came to the US to get
some great photos with photographers I liked.
What are the benefits to
being a fitness model?
You have to
stay in shape, you get to travel and work with some great people!
What is your favorite things
about being a fitness model?
I love to
work out, get to know people and do new and exciting things!
How do you stay beautiful?
I live a
healthy and happy life. Take care of my body, skin, hair and nails.
All the things a girl loves to do to look good ;)
How do you stay fit, do you
have a personal trainer, chef, work out, what do you do?
I don't have
a personal trainer. I train with weights about 4 times a week now
and do cardio to keep in shape. I prepare my food for the day in the
morning and take it with me where ever I go.
Life Goals
I would love to become a
happy, loved, wise, fit and very old lady one day.

work: I love to do shoulders, arms and legs!
