Location: Sedona - Bear Wallow Canyon.

Directions: From Phoenix go north on I-17 approximatly 2 hours to SR 179, Sedona Exit. Before junction with 89A, turn east onto Schnebly Hill Road (mostly unpaved - 4X4 not required but some clearance nice). (See map)

Route: Stop in the first parking lot and buy $5 parking ticket. Approximately 4 miles from SR 179 is a parking lot (on the right side), the trailhead is across the road from this lot.

Rating: Moderate, pretty easy, and seems to be fun for everyone

Length: Explore until your heart, mind & eyes content.

Seasons: Year-round, but cold & possibly snowy in winter.

Permit: Parking pass required ($5): Available at pay station, ranger office, or Circle K store in Village of Oak Creek (see Bell Rock Loops).
